Nucleus and Narrowband (VHF)

Will a Nucleus do narrowband in a VHF station? Does the standard control module vs. advanced one make a difference? We've got one as a backup here for public safety and are wondering if it needs to be replaced as we put a new Quantar-based simulcast system in the primary spot. Thanks.

It's not so much a question of will it. Yes, it probably can be tuned to do it.
The real issue is it type accepted for it and therefor legal to do it.
The answer to that is I don't know. It's a paging station to start with and not an analog repeater.
This means that it's questionable even using it for wideband analog as a repeater. It will work, but so will a host of amateur radio repeaters which are not part 90.
