Batboard

I have never had a problem with my UHF,Jt1000 until now. When I transmit to my mobile, the other half says it has background noise and sometimes I can,t be understood, I can hear the mobile just fine. It had a new front put on a couple of years ago(due to missing pixels) anyone got any ideas? Is it ready to go back in for service work? Thanks

1st step would be to search the board under 'Jedi Microphonics' and see if your radio fits the date block of a known issue that causes transmit problems such as you describe.
