HT1250: dust/fiber under screen

I purchased a brand new HT1250 a few days ago, and finally decided to take the protective plastic cover off of the screen. Unfortunately, there appears to be a small piece of dust or fiber from the factory (almost looks like a very thin scratch, but it's not) between the LCD screen and the clear plastic. Is there any way I can blow it out with compressed air or something without having to open the case? I'll do it if I have to, but I'd rather not since it's brand new.
