I need to update a pair of PTP600 panels. 54600 to be exact.

What's the procedure to obtain the software updates (firmware) from M? I see it's not like the normal radio firmware process...

any help?

Firmware or software? They discuss software updates in the user manual, but not firmware. You can get software updates from the Mot support site. You have to enter a the mac for each radio you want to update. Downloads are free for the first year after sale. Otherwise, you'll have to start a support ticket.
