Astro Saber Help

I just got my first astro saber. When I got my battery for it today and put it on the radio the only thing that happens is the green led on the top of the radio comes on and thats it. The radio never goes into the self test mode.

What does this mean?

The radio came originally from the DOE, it does not have a encryption board in it (dont know if it ever did) and there is not a dummy plug in the radio.

Thanks for the help!
Jonathan

May want to take it apart or hmmm has it been apart? Clean all the connections, reseat everything an hope for the best. I have seen this when things haven't been assembled exactly right. If that isn't the problem, probably have a bad board inside.

I had taken it apart once. I'm going to it again and check all of the connections. Someone else thought it may be "stunned"

I hoped you used a soft cloth to remove your finger prints from the parts and the frame? The acids on your fingers will corrode on the frame and shields and will look horrible
in due time. Always make it a point to keep your radio clean before you put back together.

Astro Sabers do not use bypass modules or, as you put it, "dummy plugs."
The radio either has a secure module in it or it doesn't, that's all.
