What radios do you own?: Motorola XTS3000

Motorola Service

I read that Motorola is ending It's depot service for the XTS3000 in December 2011, anyone else heard this?

I would think that you can still take your radio into a local Motorola service center for repairs, if need be, long after December 2011.

I think that you will find the parts supply will go away shortly after the depot service goes away. Mother M has a bad habit of cleaning out the stock pile on the shelves when an product is dropped from support.

According to their matrix the XTS3000 is already off support. I suspect any repairs at the depot level will be best effort, which means no effort since they do board swaps and many XTS3000 boards are NLA or being held to support large customers with service contracts
