have any of you guys used the TPRD1544C VHF duplexers? I am needing to buy a new set and really need to be able to rack mount them. I am also looking at the TPRD1544F. the only physical difference is the C model is a square can design and the F model is a round one. the other difference is the minimum split. which is no big deal for me cause my freqs are 5.6 mhz apart.

I also like comprod stuff i have one of their antennas and a set of uhf duplexers. i found this on the comprod website. the 66-40-44 or the 66-80-44 i think would work for my application.

If you have any experience with any of these i would appreciate your input.

thanks

Never used Comprod, but I've been very pleased with EMR's duplexers and isoplexers. They are reasonably priced (in comparison with other comparable units) and they produce very nice stuff. They also got me a six-cavity isoplexer in my hands in under a week when I needed one for a failed public safety system, and didn't charge any rush fee.

+1 for Comprod. We've used their stuff almost exclusively the last few years with great results. Not as small as other manufacturer's similar products, but certainly commercial grade, quality stuff.

+1 for comprod. It is either made by or very similar to TX RX which is the cats ass. EMR makes some great equipment. I heavily use the 526 duplexer in all my UHF applications.

Telewave is good but expensive. EMR is good and a good value as well.

I do not mind paying for quality. but i dont want to break the bank as well. i have found the telewave cans for around 1300 which i can afford. i have not got a price on the comprod stuff yet.

My vote is for Telewave.
Pretty much all of the "name brand" stuff is good.
But having used literally DOZENS of their products, I love their stuff.
