I have a 125 watt VHF quantar that has the cpn1048E power supply with battery revert. getting ready to install it i checked the voltage coming off the battery revert leads.
i had -60mv dc. does this mean that the charger part of my power supply is not working?
thanks

One more question.
Would the battery type setting in the rss change anything on this?

You have to connect the bateries in order to measure the voltaje, once connected you better check the current flow (1.2 Amps)

I would like more info on this as well.
Have a customer with some Quantars and the battery type is set to none in the codeplug, which should disable charging, right? But they say they still have 28V on the leads. Is this normal behavior? Are they confused about what they saw in the codeplug? Do I need to get them some diodes? We are using an external charger so we don't need or want charging from the Quantars
