Astro saber debug information

Hi@all,
I´ve been reading here for some time and think that there is a lot of knowledge around. I am trying to repair an Astro saber without display which seems to have a dsp problem. Has anybody information if it is possible to get debug information via RS 232 interfache of the 68 HC 11?
