Trying to update my radio programming on any ham repeaters that cover the Bogalusa, LA area. I do have and have heard conversations in the past on 147.165, but have never been able to communicate with anyone on the direct. Can't seem to key the repeater when I was in town. Not sure if it is still operational or what tone it uses.

I found this link to the Louisana Amateur Repeater Council that coordinates repeaters on a search, it may help you locate more info on the 147.165 frequency and others....

Thanks for the link. In looking at it, I see that the listing there is about up to date as our government is on trying to keep the country deficit from getting any larger. Not sure who or what that listing originated from, but there sure are a bunch more repeaters on the air than what they show. These missing repeaters have been there for many years, so it isn't like this is something new. Guess the Louisiana Amateur Repeater Council doesn't care.
