Sti-Co "quick deploy" antenna

Has anyone tried out Sti-Co's CPAK-SB-UHF "quick deploy" antenna? Expensive, but for what I'm looking for I'm hoping it could work well.

I've got a UHF R1225 mounted in an imitation Pelican case with a mobile duplexer and a gel cell running 10W. An antenna I can throw over the branch of a tallish tree would be pretty handy.
