Hello
I am the newly-appointed administrator for a four-position Centracom Gold Elite console system, fairly small and simple.
I have some bugs with all of them, hopefully someone's run into this before and can help me out.
Problem one.
I have 2 radio channels that use the same MDC alias list. I have checked the tables in ADM and they both match. The CDM has the proper ADM lists selected to display in the channel windows; however, a subscriber unit will show up with a different alias on both of those channels. I'm thinking that the ADM has been corrupted somehow or its not being properly loaded on OP startup. If I delete it from the OP, will it pull in a fresh alias database on startup?
Problem two, somewhat similar
I have changed the label on several resources/radio channels in the folders. Changes appear properly on 3 of the 4 consoles. Am I faced with the same problem, where some or all of the OP databases are somehow corrupted? What is the process for making sure the OPs pull the revised data from the server and not a local hard drive?
Thanks

Re: Centracom Gold Elite Configurations Help Needed
Sounds to me like one or more of your ops does not have a good network connection the the Elite server. The Op will run local configs and Alias database if no connection back to the Elite server is available.

Agreed. Generally it should take no more than 5 minutes for any ADM/CDM changes to reflect at the OP. As BatWings21 said, verify network connectivity (make sure you can ping the server) on each OP.
Also make sure that the ADM/CDM location is reflected properly on the OPs in the Gold Elite Configuration program, and that you have a network drive mapped to the server on each of the OPs. Basic Windows networking skills will come into play here.

also make sure that you are using the Administrator account. If you are using a lower privileged account, log off and log on as administrator and run elite then you can get the updates
