CDM1250 As A Base Radio
Hello. I am using CDM1250's as base radios and alert radios in my firehouses. I having a problem with one of the firehouses. Every time the electric power goes out, you have to manually turn back on the radios. Obviously it has to do with the way the radios are wired. What do I need to do to ensure that the radios turn on after power is removed and then power reapplied. Thanks. Henry

In one of the tabs on Radio Configuration, and Accessory Information, there is a drop-down list for Ignition Sense. I believe what you want is 'On & Off with Ignition Sense'; and then have a small-guage wire to accessory connector Pin 10, which (ta-da!!) Ignition Sense.

Thank you for the quick reply! The wire goes into pin 10 and where else. Thank you. Henry
