XTL5000 03 Head

I picked up a couple of old stock rev A 03 heads and doesn't work properly. I currently have a rev B head that works fine. When I connect the rev A head to the radio and power it up, it come up with a FL 01 90 error then does into maintenance mode. Bad heads or do they need a firmware update?

Try updating the firmware.

Thanks. I see a control head synchronization file on MOL so I'll give that process a try.

No luck upgrading the firmware on the rev A heads. It errors half way through the process. I was able to put the latest firmware on the rev B head.
