Gold Elite ADM question

Post by dham66 »

I'm still learning the in's and out's of the Elite and recently had a customer ask a question that I'm unsure of. He had asked (if I'm understanding him correctly), if it is possible to decode a DTMF id, like you can with MDC, through the ADM? I don't think you can, but like I said, I'm still learning some of the finer points of the Elite. I've read through what I could find in the manuals (I haven't been to any formal training on the Elites), and all I can find is for MDC, iDen, Stat-Alert, SMARTNET, and SmartZone.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of DTMF decode on Centracom (any version). MDC, Select V, ASTRO, iDEN and of course trunking ID's are the only ones it's capable of that I know of, and of course, that's if it's equipped with the correct hardware.

that's what I gathered from the information I'd read, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something that I missed.
Thanks
