I don't remember where my Maxtrac manual is so, what is the drive level into the PA deck? I am looking to build a high power signal source to test some circulators and cavities. I was hoping it could be driven from a service monitor.

According to the manual the tx buffer output at J5 on the rf board is typically +17dbm.

Yes, that does help. Thanks! It was a little more than I had hoped but I suspect there is excess gain there and maybe +10 DbM would drive it pretty hard.
