Re: DM4400e mobile 3 second TX delay on keyup?

This is not a definitive answer, but I would suspect the radio is first expecting to receive an active talk unit or group ID from the outbound channel of the DMR infrastructure, and the software times out after 3 seconds of 'DMR network not found.' You say that your radio is programmed on simplex o...

DM4400e mobile 3 second TX delay on keyup?

Hi all, I have a DM4400e mobile that I have reprogrammed in the past with no issues, however after making some channel changes it now has an odd issue in DMR mode only. The radio is only programmed with simplex channels but when I key up the LED TX light comes on and then after three seconds I get t...

when the setting is enabled the radio will be monitoring the channel in CSQ when the mic is not hung up. try grounding the clip on the back of the mic and see if your problem goes away. I will also see if I can find were in the cps the setting is. let me know what you find out I appreciate your hel...

Rich, Can you tell us a little more about your problem? by ignore do you mean it does not unmute? or does it unmute for everything? perhaps it is monitor when mic off hook setting? Basically it will unmute on any signal received, rather than unmute on receipt of the CTCSS tone. Not sure about the m...

CM series ignores PL/DPL

Hello all,

I have a CM series mobile that seems to ignore all programming for PL/DPL on RX.

Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice?

Thanks.

The only ones I can change are #3,4,8,9,12,14.

Of those all are set to disabled apart from.

RX Radio - Pin 8 : Car Audio Mute
TX Radio - Pin 8 : Voice PTT

CM360 as repeater - pin problem?

I'm setting up a small repeater using two CM360 mobiles, using one of those cheap ebay cables to connect the radios. The setup does "work", but there is an issue. The TX radio transmits audio from the RX, but is only TX'ing when audio is received and not on receipt of the carrier. If I sto...

Eurobase M1000 controller?

I have a Eurobase repeater that has a controller marked M1000. I'm looking for info on how to program the repeater hangtime.

It's the same unit as show here >Image

But with M1000 in place of the Motorola logo.

Can anyone assist?
Thanks

Looks like Harris will be entering the DMR (TRBO) market with the new "Momentum" line, which appears to be made by Hytera.

Re: MTS2000 - Error when reading

I guess I'll have to try and find a later version of the CPS then, as I only have 2.00.01

It looks like someone may have either re-cased or re flashed it. It has the typical MTS2000 label, but with ABC toggle and a two position rotary switch.

Thanks,

Looking at the label, I think this may be a Spanish or Portuguese radio.

Service info says: 826400 7x01 H01RDD9AN5AN 432IXW2734 - As the model numbers don't match, perhaps it's been reflashed?

Is there any way to tell without actually reading the radio? I can get it to show the Service info on the top display, but not sure what i'd be looking for.

Sorry, it's been a while since I last looked at an MTS!

It might be a bit of an unknown here and I'm not sure what outlets they have in the USA, but here in the UK we use Entel HT700 radios which are fully submersible IP68 rating. They are also available in five bands from 30Mhz through to 530Mhz. The UK fire services have ordered over 15,000 of these af...

I had a few NOS ones a couple years ago. They were pretty neat, but I "modded" (aka removed the RF pins and metal plunger) so that it could be used as a regular RSM. They looked cool, but I recall that the coil cord screwed with the RF. I think I gave one of mine to Seth. Most that were d...

We've had these for a long time now they were issued along with the MT6000E's & MTS2000's in the mid 90's. They seem to work well.

Yes as long as its authorised to roam onto that network. Most non Europe TETRA users also user this band for PS comms. We use the...

Hi 'fire32njetta' , what country are you in?

Reason I ask is that there are have been a few MTS2000's in VHF around at the moment with that flashcode in the UK market.

I've got a Model 1 version in 99% condition (Reserve issue I think) and I use R02.00.01 Windows and it programs fine.
