Re: Minitor 2 Fixed Alert

It is fairly easy. There are 2 small solder pads on the circuit board that need to be jumpered to enable fixed alert. They are labeled as such. If you can't find them I will look for my service manual and upload a picture. Also, fixed alert only works on the pager itself. It has no affect when the ...

In the bell position just F1 will alert. In the "1" position it will monitor F1. In the "2" position it will act like the bell position but for F2.

Just checking to see if part number H5177R actually includes CPS part number HVN9025 since H5177R has a lower price than HVN9025 ($299. vs $319.) Why would anyone buy HVN9025 since it costs more?

Two questions:
(1) Is Stat-Alert and MDC-1200 the same protocol? (They sound the same.)
(2) I don't see anything in the Maratrac RSS to change the PTT-ID. It looks like it's either on or off and sidetone is always on. Also only accepts 0001-9999 for an ID.

Make sure the jumper for pins 4 & 9 on the accessory connector is still in place. This is the emergency ID switch conections and can cause the radio to transmit upon power-up if it is missing.
