H14 & Q182 WHAT are they really?

So here is my very simple question I hope. I am not too sure for an XTS3000 what the two features "H14 Enhanced Digital ID Display" & "Q182 Enhanced Radio Control Protocol" actually are for/do. Any thoughts. I know what the ID display does but not sure what's "Enhanced&q...

Re: Changes to Codeplug Supersite

You can absolutely upload s ecord files to the site. I will look at making a separate section on the newest version of the site for this if it's a big enough demand for these files types.

Re: CDM1550 to external alarm pinout

That all sounds good. One thing I did notice in the help file for the External Alarm on Pin 4 is that it says it can only be set to "Active Low" which I am guessing is ground. Does this sound like anything anyone else has seen?

XTS3000 Rebanding "Out of Range"

Need some input on an issue with a XTS3000 that has some issues with a rebanded 3600 system. The settings are all the same but the frequencies just dropped down to the 852 range. When turning on the radio flashes the light for affiliation and if a conversation is in progress it comes through. After ...

Re: HT1250 MDC beeps

I went into Signalling config and turned off Sel Call and call Alert. I set the PTT id to Pre only. I have emergency turned off and no status and message. No repeater access since its not used. I can post the codeplug to CPSS if anyone wants to take a look. Its pretty empty.

Re: Spectra A7 Head "mystery switch"

Sprry for the delayed response. The Switch is just a small togel switch right above the MIC jack. The CH was bought seperately so I do not know any details on teh original radio used with it. Again sorry for the failure to mention that the switch is on the front and the red and black wires are what ...

Spectra MDC question

Just trying to figure out if its a setting I don't have right or the radio itself, but is a conventional Spectra with MDC1200 enabled (assuming all settings are correct) able to display the Unit ID of the transmitting unit? Like the HT1250's do whenever someone transmits.
