CPS BUTTON PROGRAMMING ISSUE

I am trying to add a Zone Up/Zone Down button on the side of a APX6000ex portable. It works fairly well with the XTS2500 radio where when in Conventional channel in our A Bank, channel 2, you press the button and it goes "up one zone" which puts it on our main trunk channel 2. When you wan...

I have a fleet of APX 6500 mobiles that are still running R08.05.05 firmware. I have to update the codeplug with some new changes and was wondering what is the preferred way to upgrade the mobiles. XTS1500 EEPROM Fail 01/82

I have an XTS1500 UHF 450-512 that all of a sudden went into FAIL 01/82 on display. Obviously an EEPROM error and thru my limited searches seems sometimes a fresh codeplug may recover it.
