Re: battery consumption with Power OFF
Yes, I can physically feel the radio case get a little hot when the switch was off but not so much.
It's more hot with the power on compared with an other GP388.
Thanks to help because I really lost !

Re: battery consumption with Power OFF
Thanks for your answer Zack08
I'm not sure to anderstand PA. PA = Power Amplifier ? (or quick charger ?)
How can I see if PA goes bad ?
What can I do to verify ?
Does someone had this kind of problem ?

battery consumption with Power OFF
I have a strange problem with a GP388. With the Power OFF, the battery goes down (unload battery)
The GP388 uses energy with the switch power off !!! With the power on, battery life seems to be less.
I also tried with new battery, same !!!
With an another GP388 and this 2 battery, there is no ...

Visar programming
I have a Visar from USA (H05KDH9AA7DN). There is no problem to program it (frequencies, PL,...) with RSS HT1000 (R03.02.01). I have a very old computer and it works good. I want to use the software R06.06.00 (for GP 900 and Visar select-5 in Europe) but when I try to read the radio, I have the ...
