Yes the devisible by 6.25 and 5.0 rule applies to UHF. This rule is basically for all low tier units up to the CP200. I made a little excel spreadsheet that does all the work for me that I handed to the sales people here so we don't make unprogrammable mistakes.

I think the machine that does these has been fixed. The last several cosmetic kits have been ok. Not sure if they did or will do an inventory purge as the holes were only about 3mm or so off center. I'm sure I have a whole pack of 24 bad ones that I'll have to figure out how to deal with.

I just had a 2500 with the exact same issue. I spent a few hours trying to determine if the brick was powering up or not. Most I was able to do was to verify that the brick had DC where it was supposed to have it. Your brick probably died but just for giggles there is a fuse (lease in the 2500 line)...

HT750's were made in low band yes. If you want one hurry up and order it as it's dead at the end of the month.
HT1250's as far as I can recall were not low band.

Asside from the caps the Astro Spectra is a bit more rugged and considered around here to be the standard of high power. I don't run into very many high power MCS2000. I'd guess it's due to the odd placement of the accessory pins.

That reminds me of a codeplug that used to baffle me on a regular basis. MTS2000 250 mode (AN model at that) with all 250 modes in use. 249 modes in Zone 1 and 1 mode in Zone 2. Took FOREVER to go through the channel list. I truely felt sorry for a user that had to go from channel 2 to channel 149.

You may want to check out FSB10076C. It covers XTS2500 displays that have odd characteristics which include inverting, pixelating and odd character sets.

We see that on Li-On batteries all the time. Generally it's with the CP200 batteries but the theory is the same. When we get those we replace them. What is the date code on the battery you got? If it's over 848 you should be able to get a warranty replacement.
