False Alerting Minitor V
I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with the Minitor V False alerting.

MC2500 Help
One issue I am having with the MC2500 is the MDC1200 Stun/Revive
When trying to send a stun page it would send but would not disable the radio. Yes I checked the other radios for proper programming.
Is there anywhere to change the timer for sending MDC1200 commands.

MC2500 Programming Questions
My two issues I can figure out maybe I am over looking.
When I send Two Tone pages the Unit will Automatically key up for a few seconds after sending tones. I would also like to shorten up the delay between sending stacked tones.

Vehicle Repeater
Looking at to better our portable coverage. I have looked at cross band repeaters but would like to explore the option of using the same band.
We use VHF High band. Does anyone make anything that will work in the same band that is cost effective.
Either full duplex or one way.

Motorola CM300
Does anyone know what would cause a CM300 to be locked on saying unassigned with a solid tone and unable to do anything?
The radio was powered of and turned back on and it was fine.
I did not see it just what was explained to me. I am aware with the assigned being displayed when in the scan menu ...

Re: Radio accedently keyed in to a wrong freq, radio DEAD
Correct The radios will not accept the "Stun" Command unless MDC1200 is set to receive also.
If MDC1200 is enabled on the receive side it will automatically accept the stun command you can not disable this feature.
You do not have to have a console radio to send stun commands.

Re: Radio accedently keyed in to a wrong freq, radio DEAD
The CDM1250,HT1250,CM,PM,PR,XTS series and many others can all be easily killed with a push of a button. In the CDM,HT,PR radios it is not an options you an select to turn of. If the radio has MDC12000 it can be disabled.

CM300 MDC Call list
I dont know if I am missing something or the radio just wont do it.
I use the call list for the MDC1200 Alias.
Is the call list only for the PM and PR series? I have had no issues adding the alias on those radios.
The radio only allows for the DTMF and quick Calls. Its wont let you add anymore ...

PJ- Thanks but not true. I should have reworded that to say is it worth the price.
I am aware of the nys ogs prices thanks.
I am more concerned with ease of use.
Features ect.

Thanks for the input. I do also use the PTT Pre Tone. I have found that 270-295 works fine. I have noticed that different radios do not perform the same Motorola seem to be fine and for the most part Kenwood as well. I have had some issues with the Icom radios

mdc1200 pre time
I am looking for input from others on pre mdc pre time length.
I currently am setting radios to 270ms and they seem to be working fine passing threw the repeater. Does anyone use longer or shorter lengths.
I don't want it to fast so other units cant decode it.
