99ch MT1000 with sp 88 error
I have a VHF MT1000 with the 88 vco unlock error. Only this radio is behaving very strangely. I see the sp 88 error pop up when turning on the radio. Doesn't seem to matter what channel it was left on. But when scrolling through the channels if you reach channel 88 the radio locks up. You can't do a...

Ok thanks d119 for the response. I will look into the cps. But that didn't answer my question on the astrolab for astro spectra's. I have an astro spectra UHF W9 with corrupted codeplug. Sure would like to find someone who will share an srec from a similar radio.
Has to be srecord or archive format. The .cpg files won't work for this.

Changing W4 codeplug to a W9 for astro spectra
Is there a way to change a W4 codeplug to accept a W9 head on an ASTRO SPECTRA?
Man regular spectra's have been hacked to death and they are easy.
Seems people have neglected the astro spectra's and the astro sabers for that matter.
I know I just need to get a W9 code plug. Easier said then done.

Re: astro spectra with fail 01/92
Ok Jim I will list the programming setup.
The computer is an older dell notebook with p4 and 1ghz
Motorola rib and cable for low power spectra.
Software is astro spectra CPS ver R05.03.00
Yes considering that I couldn't even read the radio why would I get fail 01/92 ??
