99ch MT1000 with sp 88 error

I have a VHF MT1000 with the 88 vco unlock error. Only this radio is behaving very strangely. I see the sp 88 error pop up when turning on the radio. Doesn't seem to matter what channel it was left on. But when scrolling through the channels if you reach channel 88 the radio locks up. You can't do a...

Ok thanks d119 for the response. I will look into the cps. But that didn't answer my question on the astrolab for astro spectra's. In the model specific section of batlabs under astro mobiles there is a section on being able to operate out of band by moding the runtime.odb file. "Out of Band Information If you are using Depot Version B03.04.00 you should be able to change the bandsplits by hex editing the Runtime.odb file....

I've been looking for that exact srec and all I get is crickets.
Sorry I couldn't help you. Believe me if I had that srec I would share it with you. ;-(

Need srec for UHF W9 astro spectra

I have an astro spectra UHF W9 with corrupted codeplug. Sure would like to find someone who will share an srec from a similar radio.
Has to be srecord or archive format. The .cpg files won't work for this.

I guess I have to be more specific about what I need. The code plug I require needs to be of either the archive or srecord format.
Files with .cpg extension won't work for my application as far as I know.
If someone knows how to convert a .cpg file let me know.

Changing W4 codeplug to a W9 for astro spectra

Is there a way to change a W4 codeplug to accept a W9 head on an ASTRO SPECTRA?
Man regular spectra's have been hacked to death and they are easy.
Seems people have neglected the astro spectra's and the astro sabers for that matter.
I know I just need to get a W9 code plug. Easier said then done.
