If your AV / Anti malware software didnt pick it up you may have been infected with malware, i think the redirect was trying to install fake av.

FIPS mode is optional. Enabling Key Loss Key Generation and IKR makes the modules non-FIPS compliant because it *does* allow you to remove the module without losing the keys. IKR off = keys lost when board removed. IKR on - keys retained when board removed. I have done this on ASTRO Saber with a UC...

I can only assume that you want wireless access all over your house, a typical access point in a central location should do the job unless you own a mansion and in that case a good option is to use WDS (Wireless Distribution System) some access points support this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wirel...

I think that if the unit has been inhibited on a trunked system that only that system can uninhibit it so even if you have an mdc console and sent an un-inhibit command to the radio (ie control channel that it was last on) it would most likely ignore the mdc command. Not 100% on this so mabie somebo...

I have a question re OTAR and KEK's

When shadow keys are loaded into the radio ie xts5k how are they slotted, what i mean is do you need to create seperate multikey entries in cps first before you load in shadow keys, is there a way to know in cps if a radio is loaded with shadow keys.

Thanks
