If your AV / Anti malware software didnt pick it up you may have been infected with malware, i think the redirect was trying to install fake av.

Astro 25 CPS and Export to Application
How are people modding the csv file exported from CPS, excel saves the file and adds crap to it that CPS dont like. I tried some other freeware apps but most dont like a copy and paste from an excel spreadsheet.

Was just reading a powerpoint slide on ASTRO 25 Radio Authentication apparently its an optional feature in the ASTRO 25 range that allows authenticating radios to ensure they have a valid SUID (account) in the system. FIPS mode is optional. Enabling Key Loss Key Generation and IKR makes the modules non-FIPS compliant because it *does* allow you to remove the module without losing the keys. fantastic for my purpose, however this concerns me, what if a somebody gets a hold of a radio ie police and puts that encryption board in their own bingo they have keys... not good

Not to sure about this but can you try selecting XL Transmit on the conventional personality under the Secure tab

The only problem i have with CPS in vista is that some drop down menus crash cps, for example in zone channel assignments when you click on talkgroup and press the little down arrow then go to the last talkgroup in the list and press down once more it completly crashes.. this is with ver 12 mobile a...

I think that if the unit has been inhibited on a trunked system that only that system can uninhibit it so even if you have an mdc console and sent an un-inhibit command to the radio (ie control channel that it was last on) it would most likely ignore the mdc command. Not 100% on this so mabie somebo...

I have a question re OTAR and KEK's
When shadow keys are loaded into the radio ie xts5k how are they slotted, what i mean is do you need to create seperate multikey entries in cps first before you load in shadow keys, is there a way to know in cps if a radio is loaded with shadow keys.

Ok guys here is the latest, tried putting in a new module thinking it was the module that was at fault, and no go still the same couldnt get the radio into KEYLOADING mode,, but i thought i would try getting a 1K resistor and putting it between pin 8 & 10 on the side connector, and bam got the K...

Thanks for your help guys, under Secure Configuration i have Hardware enabled, under the multikey options there is both CKR and PID Key Managment, under the Secure Multikey 1 it shows CKR 00001 Keyname (mykey1) indexed is unchecked slot A 0 slot b 0
