RSSI available as Menu Item?
I just want to make sure that I am clear on this - RSSI is available as a button only and not a Menu item. I am hoping someone here can correct me because that is quite a limitation and one that I have trouble understanding.

Re: APX CPS Import UCL
Let me look at how to attach a file to this post. The IDs I am looking to capture for every contact is 2 different Astro25 IDs, MDC and an Astro Conv. Ultimately I think the UCL will be about 1000-1500 entries so the ability to produce the data in excel, save as an xml and import into CPS is going t...

APX CPS Import UCL
Has anyone played with the UCL in an APX CPS and imported a large contact list? I was hoping that the multiple record view would allow me to cut-n-paste such information but all it displays is the contact names. I have a large amount of contacts that I want to add to a codeplug and am looking for a ...

Re: Minitor IV amplified charger delay in contact closure?
So I did the check with the pager in program mode and the alert light on the charger immediately comes on. Now for the strange thing - I get continuity from pins 2 & 3 (dry contact) all the time. Even if the pager is not in the charger, whether the alert led is on or off. I thought that pins 2 &...

I am looking for something to replace our old setup for fire station alerting decoding tones broadcast on a VHF radio system. I have a relay setup to turn on station lights and feed the audio into a PA system. Originally I wanted to look at the Motorola Amplified charger and use the aux connector fo...

Re: Minitor IV amplified charger delay in contact closure?
The pager is programmed to trip automatically. I don't know why the amplifier relay is not activating at the same moment that the pager decodes the tone?

Minitor IV amplified charger delay in contact closure?
I have some Minitor IV amplified chargers that I want to use for station alerting. After hooking everything up (using the contact closure to drive a relay hooked up to our station relays for lighting and PA audio), I found that their is a couple of seconds delay in the contact closure. I can't seem ...
