I know this was awhile ago, but for anyone else searching. It seems that the APX8000 Motorola went to storing the MACs for the BT and Wifi in the Codeplug. So what is happening is if someone tries to force in a new codeplug without the MAC info it will then show all zeros for the MAC. My ...

I used to do this. only way I could find was to make a new conventional personality with the same frequencies in it.

Its possible he means encryption keys, but most likely he is talking about the system key. the system key is a file that "unlocks" the programming software to be able to program the radio with that specific systems programming. Do you have authorization to be on their system? If you do not have ...
