Radius M10 - Cant program 16 pin option connector
I've got a UHF M10 that has the 16 pin option connector but the RSS, (GM300, GR300, M120, M10, M130) Version R05.00.00 doesn't give me the F9 option to program it in the Radio Wide configuration page. Am I using the wrong RSS?

Any CPS out of band programming tricks?
I was wondering if there are any tricks to program a MTS2000 slightly out of band using CPS. I know the trick for certain versions of RSS by holding down the shift key during frequency entry. I only want to do this to receive a couple of public service frequencies a few megahertz above the 470 meg t...

Waris CPS install on Win 7 x64 Help please!!
I'm trying to install CPS (R06.12.05) on a 64 bit Win 7 laptop that has no CD drive, so I'm trying to do so using a USB stick. When I run the setup.exe file it looks like it starts to install, (spinning cursor and lots of hard drive activity), but nothing happens. No CPS splash screen - nothing. Do ...

Re: Recommendation for indoor repeater antenna
I believe the FB2450 is metal with ground radials and a coil wound in the middle of the radiator. At least that's what it looks like in Larsen's literature: http://www.larsen-antennas.com/docfiles/ASB9/BaseStationAntennas.pdf Very poor antenna choice for a repeater. Thanks for the heads up, Will. C...

Re: Recommendation for indoor repeater antenna
. One potential antenna is a Larsen FB2450 which is a 32" high base station model that would fit in the ceiling space. . Most if not all of these type of fiberglass 'base station' antennas have a small diameter steel wire inside them much the same as a mobile so-called gain antenna. No advanta...

Recommendation for indoor repeater antenna
Does anyone have a recommendation for a UHF (460mhz) antenna that could be used inside a 200,000 SF 3 story building? I'm looking for something that I would be able to install in a suspended ceiling. For reference, a 3db gain collinear mag mount mobile antenna almost does the job with a few marginal...

Need help with GR500 16 pin accessory connector
I'm in the process of interfacing a GR500 / R1225 repeater to a hard line Telex intercom system using the 16 pin connector. The intercom uses balanced audio both ways and has a relay closure to key the radio. I wont be needing the COR. I have most of it figured out, but am confused as to which audio...
