Have you tried copying all the .dll files from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Motorola to the C:\Program Files\Motorola\MCS2000 or wherever the .exe lives?
That has usually worked for me.

GP2000 What Is It?
Hi,
I just came across an offer for a GP2000.
Does anybody know much about it? It looks like a FRS radio, though implies it is a commercial model.
Being keypad programmable, I take this to be a foriegn model, maybe a GP68 upgrade?
Thanks, Eric

Hi,
I have a recurring illegal frequency error on my saber that occurs when I try to program in 155.1075, indicating it must be a 5 or 6.25 MHz multiple.
Is there a way to force this frequency? I have tried shift+enter, etc., though no success.
Thanks, Eric

Hi,
Now that the 1550 is gaining popularity, does anyone know how to convert a GP1280 (Euro version of the HT1550) to the American HT1550.
My assumption is that it lies in the firmware as opposed to the hardware.
Thanks, Eric

Generic Signalling option
Hi,
I was just taking a look at a SM120 and noted the generic signalling option. The radio can do MDC if the board is installed, which it wasn't.
I have seen this in other radios but what can you do with it and how do you set it up? It appears that you need enter hex values.
Thanks, Eric
