Why does my MTS2000 Mod II, display the MDC codes in scan mode, but not when it's just sitting on the channel (not in scan mode)?

MTS2000 Flashcode & MDC Relationship

Hello...I'm new at this, hopefully I'm doing this posting correctly. I'm very confused on this issue of MDC1200 with MTS2000 and the Flash code relationship. I just obtained a Model III never thinking that it wouldn't have MDC1200, well, it doesn't. In searching the various web sites I've read diffe...

Re: XTS-3000 to Astro Saber Clone

Thanks for the tip. I tried it and it worked, kinda. Funny thing happened on the way to the drag and drop. All the personalities copy over fine, however, I lost receiver sensitivity, significantly! I replaced the code plug with the original code plug and entered a couple of frequencies manually...an...

Re: XTS-3000 to Astro Saber Clone

So, if I understand correctly, I would just grab "Conventional Personality-1" from the XTS-3000 and drag it over to the Astro and drop it on the "Conventional Personality" folder. And do that one by one for all the channels? By doing so would move all the various settings for each channel...even if ...

XTS-3000 to Astro Saber Clone

Can someone advise if a channel lineup/program read from an XTS-3000 model I, can be moved over (cloned) to an Astro Saber Model III?

Conventional Rec. on Digital flashed Radio?

I'm looking to buy an XTS3000. The flash code says "Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H37/G50 Smartnet Operation", but does not say "conventional". Is conventional always assumed?
Thanks...

XTS3000 3 Pos toggle switch

CPS Ver R05.02.00 I have placed channels in zone 1 & 2, I think. When I go to the switches window and choose "Zone Select" for the toggle switch A, B or C, I get errors in the invalid field window. It also gives me red lettering for the word "conventional" and "trunking" above the selection box wind...

MT2000 Alignment

I have depot software and I believe when I last programed the radio I told it to use either internal or external values. Well, the result was my programmed frequencies above 460 is giving me an F001 failure. I believe the VCO needs to be readjusted. Any suggestions to get it back with a little exper...

Motorola Speaker Mic Audio Quality

I have a couple of Motorola OEM Accessory mics that do not produce the same clear crisp audio that I get using the internal mic, they sound muffled. Any ideas as to why, or a way to correct this. Dan
