In Oceans 11, the big guys used the Telario.

But the personnel and maintenance guys used XTS series radios. The scene that they're sitting in the break room or something, it's sitting on the table with them.

We looked as a group with our advisors around, and couldn't find anything that was for sure working good, was in good condition, and fit the pricerange. So we were SOL. It's not a big deal, we still use the radios off the gang charger when we go on rides/ details.

When I clean HT90's/440's etc, I take the entire chassis out of the radio case and use rubbing alcohol with Q tips.

When I used my newer radios, I use orange clean or a litle alcohol with q tips or a rag.

Just be careful where you put that stuff. :D

Good god, and their rate planse are SKY high! I pay 199.99 a month on Nextel for unlimited everything. SouthernLINC has a 2100 daytime min plan for 194.99.

It sounds to me like there is just a delay in time from the console to the links. Try paging, then waiting about 3 seconds after the tones would drop on the last repeater with the siren. I agree on making half assed products for turnaround and flat rate repairs.

It's like Plectron. They don't want to go out of business like Plectron did because Plectron made quality products that lasted a long time from the get-go.

I am looking for a A9 Spectra VHF remote mount. I have a 98 Ranger XLT Extended cab. Where should I put the radio, where to mount the head, etc. I have a 5 speed. I am thinking of putting the drawer underneath one of the seats. Any other ideas/pictures? Any help and all information is precious!
