In Oceans 11, the big guys used the Telario.
But the personnel and maintenance guys used XTS series radios. The scene that they're sitting in the break room or something, it's sitting on the table with them.

I used to live there, my parents grew up and met there, so I'm there a lot. To tell you the truth, any frequencies in that area of the county are pretty mu...

Weird Repeater Acting @ Employer
Hey all! I just started as a Dispatcher for the Sinclair Community College Police Department in Dayton. The repeater we use is set up weird (from what I am used to). In the dispatch center I use a MaxTrac that is set up on the Dayton PD 800 system, for mutual aid from them (haven't had to use it yet...

It sounds to me like there is just a delay in time from the console to the links. Try paging, then waiting about 3 seconds after the tones would drop on the last repeater with the siren. After the tones drop, give it 3 seconds, then have the dispatcher key. It sounds like an ok setup, but you just c...

You are currently barricaded to sixteen conventional channels or talkgroups on the HT1250ls FM radio frequency transmitting device. Breaker breaker! :D :D :D I jus...

Important Tax Question
I just filed for my state and federal taxes. I did Federal by TeleFile and state through the State of Ohio I-File website. For federal, I forgot about my checking account somehow, and elected to have the check sent to me in the mail. For state, I realized that I did have a checking account, and want...

I tried to match these up, but I'm having a problem with them. They are off of radios at work that we are currently using. Nextel Offers up $350 million more to move Public Safety
This is taken from the Trunked Radio Information Homepage. As a Nextel subscriber, I side with the Public Safety people on this one. This is LUDACRIS! Wouldn't it be cheaper for them just to switch to 700 or 900 and buy their customers new phones, instead of trying to get all these people new radios...

Spectra & Ranger
I am looking for a A9 Spectra VHF remote mount. I have a 98 Ranger XLT Extended cab. Where should I put the radio, where to mount the head, etc. I have a 5 speed. I am thinking of putting the drawer underneath one of the seats. Any other ideas/pictures? Any help and all information is precious!
