Is their any such thing as a double charger for the Jedi radios, wether Motorola made or not. A 6 bank charger is two much for my needs.

You are better off buying black. I painted a few different whips for a "stealth" look. Full prep w sanding etc, but no matter what it wears off and starts to look crapy.

I just saw a commercial for Ford advertising side curtain airbags which are discharged fro the headliner just above the doors of the vehicle. Expeditions are very popular for public safety vehicles. How do you think this will affect antenna and lightbar installations?

Thanks for the info. I think I am going to have to run a straight A lead to the cargo area rather than use the acessory outlet. Im planning on installing a lowband maratrac there. Also that little storage compartment below the AM/FM how does it come out?

Personally, I like dash mount radios better. I find it harder to run the control cable, & pwr leads from the dash to the rear of a veh then to run antenna coax.

Well i wouldnt call it easy, but lift the carpet and insulation in front of the passenger seat poke your hand up and their is a gromet where the AM/FM stereo ant comes in. You may need to use a little lube...it will be a tight fit, but I got two 8g through.

Use good quality velcro usually holds great and will cause no or minimal damage when removing! I use it for just about everything!
