Moto did have other low band antennas besides uncut 6064. I'd figure moto wouldnt pass on branding an item so I'd assume aftermarket and theres still a few companies making aftermarket antennas for old motos, laird, smiley antenna makes lots of nice ducks with any connector of your choice, etc NAB60...

Not even a glitch with one of the Astron SS-30M switching I've forgot how long I've had it. Besides, its only weighs 5 pounds if that, cant complain about that. But still gives the old crabs something to complain about, most of them refusing to operating appliances any newer than 25+ yrs ago

Speaking of HT220's Here is a mystery. This is a factory DTMF HT220 - Model H33FFN1100E TYPE CC3540 SERIAL L68J49 There is a 2 chip board w/switches and , the 3 wires simply clip on to that board, possibly added later on to operate something? I wonder if this HT220 is something more than just a DTMF...

your going in opposite directions in history. MT500, MX300, MT1000, Saber radios are capable of MDC-600 and those radios were old when narrowband equipment was just starting to be manufactured.
