it works just fine on astro25 9600 trunking systems also.
You don't need to set anything to NAC F7E or any nonsense like that just make sure yoiur conv personalities are set to non astro as these will be calling your astro talkgroups.
I'm Sitting here right now monitoring a 700/800 MHz 9600 baud ...

I guess my big question is can I read/write a radio using CPS 6.02.05 with firmware 4.00.01? It has been read with a newer CPS 6.09.06 I think. Will that affect my ability to program this unit. It is for HAM use but I dont want to sink $500 on a radio that I wont be able to work with.

HT1250 CPS / Firmware Question
I currently have CPS version 6.02.05. Since that is the newest I have, what is the newest firmware I will be able to program? I know I will have issues with the 5.11.xx stuff but will the 4.00.01 work with this CPS?
