APX6500's speaker interferes with VHF CM300
I have an APX6500 that is a remote mount dual O5 head 700mhz. The O5 head is installed in a Tahoe center console next to a UHF PM400 and a VHF CM300. The 05 head's speaker is at the back of the console on the floor pointed up toward the ceiling. Until recently, the CM300 was rarely if ever used. Now...

As jackkacket stated, The MCS2000 itself does not do channel steering. the ITA2000 can only remotely key the MCS2000. If you look at page 19 of the ITA2000 book at the top (I looked at both revision 43004-010C and 43004-010H), it specifically states pins 1, 5, 8, 9, and 15 can only be made if the ra...

RSM or PSM?
Vast majority use RSM in our area for your application.
I believe you could do a PSM which would bring your antenna up higher when in the car.

I'm stuck on the, "random" part of the OP. Are there remote receivers? Or is it just a repeater station?
Also, can you elaborate on, "re-tune?" Was the station just switched from PL to DPL in the RSS?
What kind of station is it?

We had requests to run the lights, air horn, and siren from either O5 heads and O3 heads w/o DEK box.
After much monkeying, only came up with VIP plug to a 12V relay to trigger the air horn. In the end they found it more useful to have the feature linked to their garage door opener.
