Jedi 15 key display board in a 6 key MT2000?
Does anyone know if a Jedi 15 key replacement keypad and display assembly (NTN7154B) will work inside a 6 key MT2000? Anyone tried it?
I know the 6 key has a different model number, but was just curious if it would work albeit with extra unused buttons... Thanks!

Just an idea, but maybe you have more than one button or switch programmed to the same function?

Re: CDM-1250 as Train Cab Radio
Amtrak has started issuing Icom F3161 portables in the field in place of Motorola HT1250s... At NJ Transit, the latest seried of radios to be issued have been Icom F50s(non NXDN) which have been falling apart on the railroad. A supervisor was recently issued an F3161 to "test" it out...

Re: Wireless Moto Speaker Mic?
Yeah, I was thinking of that too or also the possibility of it getting snagged in a struggle. I was thinking more of the negative issues involved with technically working, quality, battery life, interference etc... Maybe they'll become common years from now...

Re: Wireless Moto Speaker Mic?
As one who wears a speaker mic every day on the railroad, why bother with a wireless mic? Seems like more potential problems could arise with it than a corded mic. Just my 2 cents.
