CDM1250 and rear second mic(acc port)

Simple question, can a Motorola handset telephone style mic be connected to a CDM1250’s accessory port? It is an older mic and I am not sure of the part number but it was connected to a Maratrac and it has the “v” style plug with 6 pins as well as 2 pairs of wires with a plastic plug on the end. I k...

Minitor VI(6)

I have read old posts about this however I am not able to find much information. Does anyone have the programming pinout for the Minitor VI pager? I know in the past it was fairly easy to rig up a programming interface for the 3, 4, and 5 pagers. I was wondering if anyone has the pinout for programm...

Re: CDM series USB programming cable

Update: I have corrected this issue. To help anyone else, if you are using a Prolific chipset for your USB cable you must roll back the drivers to version 3.2.

CDM series USB programming cable

I've noticed that the rear connector of the CDM series as seen here: https://goo.gl/images/MwLSNJ Has a UART RX on pin 6 and a TX on pin 8. Can a simple USb>TTL adaptor be used to program this radio after connecting a ground as well? This seems to simple and I would try it but I want to get opinions...

Re: GM300 to C100 remote

I have found the tone remote. I have connected the remote back to the existing C100s at the station. I have looked and looked but have not found a cable to connect the two. If i fashion my own cable, I just need to connect the following pins on the GM300 to the Tone panel correct? Channel steering i...

How would I put this together for receive only? Since the radio would not be used for transmitting anyway. Thanks

GM300 to C100 remote

Can someone lead me in the direction of using an Old GM300 connected to C100 remotes to provide radio audio throughout a station? Our new radio system is digital so the old analog infrastructure is no longer used. Our station has 3 C100 remotes in different rooms that are now lying dormant. It was p...
