Re: mcs2000 iginition sense
Well, I'm embarrassed to say I found the problem... there is no power going to the ignition sense wire. Hopefully, this should be a very easy fix. I don't know why I didn't start with the easy/obvious in the first place.... live and learn I guess.

I chose soft power off in cps but it's still not coming on/off with the ignition. Any ideas where or what I should check next? Could it be because I also chos...

Re: Plantation factory downsizing.
I'm sorry to hear that. I remember back in the "good ole days" my middle school took us on a tour of the facility. It was nice to see the inner workings (as much as they allowed) of the plant.

Re: Entry Level CPS's
I'm not familiar with that particular radio, but have you tried simply uploading your own programming to the radio? I believe it would allow you to programming the radio to your specs irregardless to the previous codeplugs password

RMN5021a on xts5000
I have a commander mic rmn5021a attached to my xts5000. When it connects to the radio or when i hit the up or down buttons, it activates the "tones on/off" menu option. Is there a setting i'm not aware of to stop this from happening?

Re: TRBO Amateur Installations
I for one, am very intrigued. We have a UHF repeater here in Port St Lucie (zip 34953) with a very nice footprint, but doesn't get much use. I am contemplating approaching the club that owns it about converting it to trbo. I just need to do more homework to determine exactly what and how much is inv...

Thats great news! I love seeing trbo grow! I might actually have to invest in a mobile unit sooner than later!
