XTS-2500/XTS-5000

Priceindustries.com apparently has a cable for $185. No I am not trying to advertise. I have no connection to Price. A friend bought one and has successfully read a 5000.

800 Maxtrac RX help

806 824

I am trying to construct a portable conventional 800 mhz repeater. I was planning on using two 800mhz conventional Maxtracs. The problem I am having is that the Maxtrac will not receive 806-824mhz. For this project I need to RX 820 to 824.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

16 pin Maxtrac to 16 pin Maxtrac bi-directional repeat HELP

I am trying to connect two 16 pin Maxtracs via the 16 pin connectors to make a bi-directional crossband repeater. I know I can use a RICK but I should be able to by pass using one since I do not want a hang time or any other frills.

If anyone has a diagram or suggestions please advise.

Thanks!

Mobile or Portable 800 repeater

Anyone got any ideas on constructing a relatively inexpensive 800 mhz repeater for mobile or portable use on an itenerant basis? I thought of the 2 maxtrac idea, but cannot find a way to rx the 806-820 +/- input frequency.
Thanks
