"received a notice from Motorola that some APX portables, manufactured between August and September of 2013, have been recalled for repair. They found an issue where some portables may power off on their own, even with the knob in the “on” position. They may not be able to power back on. We hav...

XTS3000 VHF strange issue

Hello fellow batlabbers, I got this issue with my 3000 , Everytime the backlight is on and I key up the radio the radio resets. The radio never does this during regular operation. I thought maybe it was a battery issue , but after buying a new battery it still does the same thing. Any ideas on what ...

Re: NOT 9600 BUAD!

Once again people: APCO-25 CAI is 4800 BAUD . NOT 9600 BAUD. BAUD means "symbols per second" NOT BITS PER SECOND. APCO-25 uses a 4 level signaling system, so the bit rate is twice the symbol rate (NOT BAUD RATE. "baud rate" would be "symbols per second per second".) Ei...

Re: Type II Trunking

this may be a dumb question on an old post , but after using the search function and wanting to learn more about the 2500 , I recently aquired one, So if program a 9600 baud system can I still program in a 3600 baud system and still listen to both of them?

Thanks
