I am not familiar Midian encryption and I dont know how it interfaces with the radio..... But I do know the controller board on an MT2000 has no connector soldered on the board to plug an OEM Motorola encryption board into. The MTS however does. If you look at the RSS it does however let you enable ...

To modify the VCO you should first understand a little bit about the VCO and LC resonance and you need the schematic. The spectra VCO can be modified fairly easily but you need to know whats going on before you start to tune it. One important thing is it uses PIN diodes to switch in different line l...

Antenna Stuffs
A good network analyzer is great for measuring VSWR ect.
But ya know what you really also need is a good signal generator some amps and a good spectrum analyzer and a couple of isotropic standards.
Then you can measure gain and plot it vs. antenna bearing. Make your own lobe plots.
Kewl Stuff.

For clarity let me explain a few things. 1. You will not be able to ever read a spectra with firmware 6 or higher with lab4. 2. Anything that is stored on the MLMs' 28C64 EEPROM is considered the codeplug. 3. You notice that the moflag hacking procedure says to do the following steps I will simplify...

That is correct it is MLM revs. Software version is stored on the 28C64 EEPROM on the MLM. Its a 3 digit ASCII string. My bitbang spreadsheet has the bitbanger location to change it. The radio should still allow cloning and convert the codeplug structure to the older format. You just have to tell it...

I have this @road GPS reciever..... It is supposed to hook up to the internet for fleet tracking. Looks like it has standard serial output and hooks into a small MDT terminal that came with it. I was thinking of terminating the internet antenna and using it for APRS.
