Re: HT1250 CPS error

It is an aftermarket ribless cable. What's wierd though is that one of the radios read/programmed fine but the rest are having issues.

HT1250 CPS error

So this is a new one..

I have been trying to program a group of HT1250s that I have. When attempting to read the radio I get the following error:

"80040154: Couldn't createinstance on the device after getting UUID"

CPS version is R06.12.02 and the models are all AAH25SDF9AA5AN.

Anyone have any ...

Re: CDM1250 as a station alerting base

So I wired it up but I can't get the radio to trip the system. When I initially hook up the wires the tone generator will go off, but not when I set the tones off on the radio frequency. I put a voltmeter on pin 4 and it shows voltage when the tones drop, pin 13 seems to show constant voltage. I've ...

Re: CDM1250 as a station alerting base

As luck would have it I actually just purchased one of the connector kits from mre1032. Our existing CDM has a connector but only one pin for the ignition sense pin.

So just to make sure I have it correct, does the pin programming shown in this picture have any correlation to what pins I have to ...

CDM1250 as a station alerting base

I'm currently building a station alerting system for our firehouse and its going to be pretty much a carbon copy of this design: http://www.rayvaughan.com/recall.htm

The only thing I'm not 100% on and it doesnt seem to touch on in the schematics, where do the pins from the CDM attach on the relay ...

MCS2000 display issue

I've had this remote mount UHF mcs2000 installed for almost a year and earlier this morning I turned it on but the screen wouldn't refresh when it would change channels and strange characters would start showing up, now it's only showing these black boxes. It still functions as normal, the ...

Re: MCS2000 remote kit question

Hey everyone,

I managed to get a hold of a remote kit. Are there any instructions online on how to install it?

Thanks

Re: MCS2000 remote kit question

The model 2/3 kits can usually be found new on Ebay for about $150. The head cable is the same with the exception you will not have any external speaker connections for the speaker. This means you will have to pin the external speaker off the accessory plug on radio. The only other issue will be ...

MCS2000 remote kit question

Hey everyone, just a quick question.

Since motorola no longer makes the MCS2000 Model II/III remote mount kits, I was wondering if I could use the kit for the Model I, but just use a model II control head with it. Will that work? Or are the cables/back piece for the radio itself different?

Thanks!
