Re: Whelen HHS2100 Remote ?
Why would you be facing the wrong way?? Most if not all safety protocols call for parking the same direction as the primary accident scene with the vehicle angled so that if struck, the vehicle does not become part of the accident scene. Spoken like a true textbook administrator. Works on paper, bu...

right under where you put the call ID there is a check box...if you have NOT updated the Firmware and CPS you will NOT see this option.

Wavetar, I was reading somewhere that you can establish talkgroups wihtin the TRBO, and do Individual private calls with the TRBO radios. That is what we are interested in. Also, The demo videos on line alude to the fact that on the same channel you can create different talk groups? Any insight. Th...

Well and to add to that they (China KO's) are for the "belt clip" market. Many people who want a radio (PRIOR to buying, using and breaking it 3 months later) see a dual band that "looks like an EX600 (or whatever), so it must be the same!" These are the same people that will swe...

"Where does the belt clip go?". "Oh, it goes on the SIDE of the radio". lol What many people seem to missing here is that Motorola is not looking for the "belt clip" world of radio users as it's core group of customers. They never have and never will. The numbers are s...

Pyramid all the way. The RICK route is ok, but you will lose functionality. Channel changing etc is not possible. Also you can inband the lower wattage without desense. 2 watts is plenty unless you want to be miles away from your vehicle when using the unit. Which is for the most part pointless. Now...

I'd suggest going for something along the lines of the Whelen LED Flatlighter: It mounts right to your visor, and obviously invisible when not in use. This would fit into your budget also.
