keyloading my xts2500
purchased a ucm/ keypad for my xts2500. it has a few algos ( a lot) and when i plug in my t3011dx radio goes to keyload mode, try loading a few keys and i get an error on the kvl. Unlike my 2500, all my xts5000s load fine. CPS settings for the 2500 are identical to the xts5000s. what could i be doin...

The battery itself is most likely okay, but the IMPRES chip is indeed toast. Had that happen to me once on a NOS hi-cap APX battery. You will need to assign a personality to EACH channel that is FPP as I recall. I am pretty sure each channel is assigned when the radio is flashed for FPP. I normally delete most zones and leave 5 zones add more if I need another zone because reading and writing to a radio with the full max zone / ...

Why should you be annoyed with one radio working not working outside it's specified frequency range? You should be happy the other 2 radios do it. The tuner software will allow adjustments to be made with limitations to slide the VCO range of the receiver and transmitter. Bear in mind that when you...
