keyloading my xts2500

purchased a ucm/ keypad for my xts2500. it has a few algos ( a lot) and when i plug in my t3011dx radio goes to keyload mode, try loading a few keys and i get an error on the kvl. Unlike my 2500, all my xts5000s load fine. CPS settings for the 2500 are identical to the xts5000s. what could i be doin...

The battery itself is most likely okay, but the IMPRES chip is indeed toast. Had that happen to me once on a NOS hi-cap APX battery. You will need to assign a personality to EACH channel that is FPP as I recall. I am pretty sure each channel is assigned when the radio is flashed for FPP. I normally delete most zones and leave 5 zones add more if I need another zone because reading and writing to a radio with the full max zone / ...

I have several 5000 housings all with issues, I found a few good ones but the purple side button is cracked and ptt does not CLICK. I'd love to see if there is a way to swap out the buttons and ptt... Don't see why it's not doable like the xts1500, 2500 models...

Have you confirmed the radio is transmitting on the proper repeater input frequency? You can easily verify this with a frequency counter or a service monitor. I doubt the housing has much to do with it since it is the same housing on simplex as it is on the repeater. Stupid audio settings! I figure...

Yeah I unchecked that APF box and pow, booming audio!!
I have all my stuff set as follows:
Compression AGC
Expansion AGC
Emphasis De-Emphasis.

Audio sounds good, some say base is the audio through rptr but as for Tac channels it sounds nice on RX end.

I have ordered a few batteries and they have 2015 date codes, does this mean the HT series (HT750 / HT1250) is still in production? Also, there are a few eBay sellers with model 2s BNIB, but they don't say HT1250 on the label where the mic hole is. I was under the impression those are Chinese copies?

I have a 800mhz AS with a 1 Meg.
Should I swap vocons? Does that mean the radio needs a realignment along with new flash etc?
This radio IS Double MINT and pushing 6.1w on high.

Astro spectra w5 power button not working?

I have a remote mount w5 that will not respond to any w5 Control head power buttons. Radio comes on when power is applied. Radio works with a w9 control head, but only the power switch at the top 5 buttons.
