Re: KVL5000?
KVL5000 will keyload any ASTRO25 radio with no problems at all. The documentation says ASTRO25 is not supported, but what they really mean is that the KVL5000 can't add algorithms or firmware to ASTRO25 radios via FlashPort. It will keyload them just fine however, as it's all the one standardised P2...

Yes, there are definitely MACE UCMs for X series radios, and they are in the 7.xx.xx firmware range. The last couple of years of XTS5000 production that is what was used, from what I've seen. Any chance you happen to know if you can Key-load the newer MACE-style UCM's with a KVL3000, or is KVL3000+...

It's strange that the KVL4000 doesn't have a delete option when in Authentication mode, as the P25 specs definitely have a "Delete Authentication Command/Response" KMMs defined. The KMM has two options - delete all authentication keys or just the active key. There are KMM message IDs defin...

Hi all, I am looking for a decent bluetooth adaptor that will fit an XTS series radio. It needs to work with non-Motorola branded headsets. Your module has no algorithms flashed into it. Plain and simple.
You need to see KG1 - DES-OFG KG2 DES-XL KG3 ADP etc....
Without that, the UCM is essentially blank.
