Re: XPR5550 Squelch Adjustment?

what a drag ! - set the RX for 25kc if you can, it supposedly helps, ... i bought another new Amateur UHF 45w rig too for the same reason, problem is, its squelch is electronic too, and even on minimum, is tighter than i would prefer. bad :( nothing in the xpr5550 CPS - except an option to make it t...

Re: XTS2500 menu 'mute' missing !

** bit late replying I'm afraid, (had serious personal probs) ** Thanks for the replies folks, Ed, I am using 19.01.00 also, so i re-enabled the 'MUTE' in the CPS later - and found i had reached my max number of items allowed in the menu, that seemed to have been the problem, so it is all as expecte...

UK Ham DM4600/XPR550 DM4800/XPR7550 questions

Coming from P25 and looking at buying a UHF DM4600 or DM4800 (XPR5550 or XPR7550) for Ham use, (or similar?) so i need good front end sensitivity, But i will it be as sensitive as my XTS2500 ? also I'm concerned about squelch adjustment on FM as i use distant repeaters, so need (at least) the tuner ...

anyone point me to the right section of the CPS - if i can please ?

XTS2500 menu 'mute' missing !

I upgraded my CPS from 16 to 19 today and added the nice feature of user switchable low power to my XTS2500. all is sweet except in the Menu now, MUTE doesn't show up. Checkimg and re-checking with the CPS, the helpfile says MUTE - is always shown. Not on my XTS anymore. its a 4meg set and the CPS r...
