mtr2000 upgrade to mtr3000
Looking for info on the upgrade (mtr2000 upgrade to mtr3000). The kits I am seeing now include the PA and make this not cost effective. Does anyone have the correct part number to make this cost effective?

Unfortunately that did not work. The modules seem to be out of range. Does anyone know the part numbers for the correct modules?

Quantar linking onsite via v.24 and wireline
Looking for info on linking 2 quantar repeaters onsite via v.24 and wireline. I see reference to a rt/rt but links are dead. Is this as simple as a shielded cat 5 cable to the v.24 ports? Any help appreciated. There does not seem to be info in the service manual I have. Thanks

800 Mhz Quantar as base station.
Wanting to use a 800 MHz quantar repeater as a remote base. Problem is one of the channels needs to be a repeater channel. How do you go about reversing the frequencies in that unit. In the 800 MHz Quantar they seem to only let you tx in high 800mhz portion, and RX in the low 800 MHz portion. I need ...

Re: GR1225 with FF on display
on the advice of a very smart man. On the new radio that I got I programmed it and had it functioning. Then I went ahead and cloned it to this radio and now I have another 1225 that is functioning. So cloneing instead of writing fixed this situation.

Re: GR1225 with FF on display
A good point was brought up by a fellow member. How often are the fans on these supposed to run? I looked through the service manual and did not find an answer. Does the FF have something to do with the cooling fan? Would that affect programming?
