Re: XTS3000 Flashzap
I'd like to conclude this thread with an apology for my dishonesty and gratitude for making me realize the severity of punishment that could of been as a result of my actions. I have defiantly learned my lesson, and shall only use my radios for conventional programming. Thank you guys, and take care.

Re: XTS3000 Flashzap
That's nothing of the sort I was interested in actually, I was attempting to use the scanning method I've found on P25 forums, I have no interest in messing up any communications.

Re: XTS3000 Flashzap
I understand where you're coming from, I am getting it done professionally. I was actually interested in flashzapping for the learning experience, but I can't find enough information to secure my comfort level to do it safely. In reference to the scanning post, I need the ability to PTT for the fire...

Re: Xts3000 Smartnet
I set up the scan list with conventional control channels just to test, and it does indeed pickup the random traffic being put out. Also, how would I know if my XTS3000 is 9600 trunking capable? It can't be the ID because I use the same ID on my MTS2000, which works perfectly. Also, I'm within the c...

Re: Xts3000 Smartnet
I might have to let him program it if I can't get it, but I'm one of those people who can't give up aha.

Re: Xts3000 Smartnet
No, I'm interested in this type of stuff so he gave me the essentials (Control Channels, System Key, and the Unique ID for the radio) but I can't figure out why it keeps saying out of range whenever I put it in. I have SmartZone working perfectly fine, then SmartNet is just a fail.

Re: Xts3000 Smartnet
Using it as a scanner, BUT I am a fire academy student and have permission from the system owner to monitor while logged in, and reason being is because my radio is also being used when I go on shift (ride-alongs).

Xts3000 Smartnet
Evening folks! I have an XTS3000 that is currently connected to a SmartZone network. It works perfectly! The only problem I am experiencing is, when I attempt to connect to a SmartNET system, it gives me "Out of Range". I'm not exactly sure why this is occurring, I've spent hours attemptin...
