Programmed two 16ch. zones using MTSX RSS. Earlier today attempted to bring up 4-5 amateur repeaters without success.

Thanks for the info. I just did a search for this model number to see if there were any dealers that just might have the RSS still available. No such luck.
So my only alternative would be to have the radio switched back to an earlier Con version... if that is still possible.

Are you reading it from the pager, changing the text, and then loading the same file back in?

Does the frequency show up correctly in PPS when you read it?

I recieve the error message, "WARNING: Frequency entered is not in the range of the receiver.
Any other key to abort".

I'm searching for something capable of generating 5/6 tone for group paging tone-only pagers.
It should be stand alone and would sent an assigned cap code to a low-power transmitter once a momentary relay closure

I've recently installed an XTVA to be used with an XTS3000.
Looking at the external speaker diagram, pins 3 and 6 must be shorted for an external speaker to work.

Will a GM300 microphone work on a XTS3000 XTVA (NTN8561D) ?

I knew you would have the solution and it makes perfect sense.

Lesson learned: All three or four digit cap codes printed on the pager does not always equate to Quik Call.

Recently I was able to pick up a few old pagers to play with.

The first is a BPR2000 numeric 152.130 MHz PermacodePlug info is 008398Y12A.

Second is a Bravo Tone tone-only on 152.240 with a cap code of 129976.

Thanks for the explanation fellas. The paging company transmits the paging info in POCSAG and in FLEX. The problem is that I only have the older POCSAG capcode list and was hoping there was a method of converting the capcodes instead of dealing with the company.

The knob really does look like the hi-profile knobs used on the MX300 series radio. I've compared it with the MX340 I have here on the shelf and it appears identical.
