Re: CDM1250 Channel Programming

The suggestion of loading a sample, blank codeplug worked! The channel up/down buttons now work. I programmed the personalities and zone exactly the same as before. Thank you all for the help!

CDM1250 Channel Programming

I am new to the CDM software. I have a CDM1250 on the bench. It is programmed for 2 ' conventional personalities ' in ZONE 1. The radio boots up to the first personality. The channel up/down buttons do not work. I've tried programming the ' P1 ' and P2 ' buttons for various functions, nothing seems ...

Re: R2400 unstable

Thank you all! I simply added a 1000uf cap on the fan leads, and it is MUCH better. The fan had already been replaced with a brushless model. _ have ordered an inductor to add also.

R2400 unstable

I have managed to adjust the TCXO to correct frequency error. Thank you for the prior comments back in April. In general, the unit works fine for ham radio work. The frequency error still seems to jump around quite a bit. Both the Freq. Error and Deviation bar graphs swing + / - around zero. I'm thi...

CDM750 TX Alignment?

I'm using the PRO CPS software R6.12.05. There is supposed to be a separate ' TX Align ' section I cannot find. Is this separate software? I need to raise the deviation. It seems to be hard limited to 3KC, even though I have the personalitiy set for 25KC spacing.

Re: R2400 Freq. Error

Thanks for the reply. The error seems to increase with frequency. I see the TCXO reference module, but do not see an adjustment.
Is it behind the screw near the speaker?

R2400 Freq. Error

My R2400 works great, except for frequency error. It seems to always read about +.800 KHz, and the bar graph is not steady. The error fluctuates between +500 and +800. My frequency counter shows correct, stable frequency. Is this an alignment issue? I got this from a Silent Key Ham, and it is quite ...

Micor VHF AMP TLD1704C

I'm looking for any information on this 162-174MHZ amplifier. I found a 220 MHZ conversion for the Harmonic filter, but cannot find any other schematics or information. Any help will be much appreciated. This will be used for the ETSNJ 220 repeater in Watchung NJ.

R2001B Generator variable level

My R2001B was working fine until doing a de-sense test at a site yesterday. I had 70db isolation for a 27w transmitter. During the test, I accidentally toggled the power off. Now the generator RF level goes immediately to maximum when raising the variable control. The step-pad is working fine, but I...

Re: R2001B Test Points

I got this up and running, and took some testpoint readings. I'd like to post the diagram here, but cannot find a way to attach the file. I thought it might help someone.

Re: R2001B Test Points

I got it running! I have the ' free ' service manual from repeater-builders, but the HV supply does not match. I replaced the same 2N3055 again, and it now powers up.
Can anyone supply me with the maintenance manual for an R2001B? Sure would help in the future. Thanks!

R2001B Test Points

I have an R2001B on the bench. I have the maintenance manual, but it does NOT clearly show the low voltage supply test points and what they should indicate. Does anyone have a diagram of the test points and voltages? The CRT sweep minimized to a small square, and I found a bad 2N3055 in the HV suppl...
